The Pin Theory is a small team based across the UK and Europe with backgrounds in fashion, entertainment, e-commerce, customer service, and marketing. What started as an idea between a few experienced entrepreneurs quickly grew into a brand focused on solving real, everyday problems.

Who We Are

The original founders, Jack, Amanda, and Matt had already built businesses before and knew they worked well together. With experience across fashion and entertainment, they wanted to create products that served a genuine purpose, not just looked good.

A shared love of vintage, thrifted, and second-hand clothing led them to a simple but frustrating problem: finding amazing jeans and trousers that fit perfectly at the hips but not at the waist.

Rather than accepting belts as the only solution, they started looking for something better.

That's how The Pin Theory was born.

What's The Theory?

We've got a theory that great businesses don't need huge investments or complicated ideas.

Sometimes all you need is a simple product that solves a real problem, a small investment, and the determination to keep improving.

For us, that product is waist pins.

They help make loose-fitting jeans and trousers fit better at the waist while offering a stylish alternative to belts. They're easy to use, easy to carry, and help keep your favourite clothes in your wardrobe for longer.

There's also a second theory.

Building a business with people who share the same drive, ambition, and excitement for creating something from nothing might actually be one of the best ways to do it.
